Hotel Saltus
A thousand metres up, on the sunny side of South Tyrol, Hotel Saltus rises out of the forest as if it had always been there. This is a hotel built around stillness; around the particular quiet of high alpine air, the smell of pine, and views across the Dolomites. The perfect place to clear the mind and unwind.

Hotel Saltus Main Area
At Saltus, the lobby doesn't try to hold your attention — it points it outward. Floor-to-ceiling views run from the lounge straight out over the Dolomites, the mountains dissolving into open sky. Where the rooms and the forest spa put you eye-level with the trees, the main area does the opposite: it lifts you above them. Smooth cement finishes, warm walnut fixtures, larch wood clad along the exterior and left to grey naturally with the seasons. Nothing is polished to a shine. Everything is left to age the way the forest around it does.
Hotel Saltus Facilities
Saltus keeps a small gym and a dedicated Pilates studio tucked into the wellness wing, used for yoga and Pilates sessions alongside more traditional training. At the centre of the Hotel Saltus’ wellness facilities sits the Forest Spa: a sauna set directly among the trees, a hammam, and treatment rooms built around the same unhurried philosophy as the rest of the hotel. Above it all sits the Sky Pool, a heated rooftop pool with a 180-degree view of the Dolomites, open through every season.
Hotel Saltus Rooms
Each room opens onto its own private balcony, facing either deep forest or open mountain; the kind of view that makes it hard to leave the room before finishing your coffee. Interiors are quiet by design: natural materials, soft light, nothing that asks for attention it doesn't need. This is a hotel for slow mornings. Wake up to mist moving through the trees, or clear light on distant peaks, and let the rest of the day arrange itself around whichever view you woke up to.
